The boys’ and girls’ track teams competed against 11 other AA and AAA teams at the Washington-Greene County Championship last Saturday. 

The boys’ team won the AA competition while Ben Bumgarner earned Track MVP and three medals. 

Also earning points for the team and medals for themselves are:

Blake Brewer 5^th place and Caleb Shriver 6^th place in the 100 meter dash.

Ben Bumgarner 1^st in the 1600 meter run.

The 4x100 team of McIe, McIe, Shriver, and Brewer won 2^nd .

Daniel Layton was 2^nd  in the 300 meter hurdles.

Ben Bumgarner was 1^st in 800 meter run.

Cameron McIe  was 5^th in 200 meter dash.

Ben Bumgarner was 1^st and Cade Rush was 4^th in the 3200 meter run.

The 4x 400 team of Fenstermacher, Scritchfield, Brewer, and Cameron McIe  won 5^th place.

Troy McIe was 7^th in the high jump.

Daniel Layton was 2^nd in pole vault, Will Behm was 4^th, and Ray Behm was 5^th .

Mitch Warman was 3^rd in shot put.

Josh Gailbraith was 6^th in the javelin throw.

Waynesburg Girls McEligott, Pell, Mankey, and Fowler were 2^nd in the 4x100 meter relay.

Juliana Fowler was 7^th in the 200 meter dash.

Juliana Fowler was 5^th in the long jump.

Bree Echegary was 5^th in the high jump and Shay Echegary was 8^th. 

Madison Brooks was 8^th in the discus throw.
